Thirsty and as engine wears drinking even more fuel. 10 to 14 mpg is about all it gets. The pick up truck is as areodynamic as a brick. More modern engines have better fuel managment.

It depends on which V8 you have.

The 5.0 Litre will run you 13-16

The 5.8 Litre will run you 10-13

I get 11 on mine, which is really too bad considering it doesn't have much power. A new one with 300 hp gets more mileage than mine.
