I emailed a girl I'm interested in a few questions and she responded with answers. I responded with a lot of innuendos and trying to be clever or what (some of the stuff was inappropriate for our level of relationship- i barely know her). Girls: how would you feel if you were interested in the guy before he emailed you and he said something inappropriate. The girl didn't respond to my email (not that I really left her with a way to respond because I'm pretty sure I screwed up the vibe). I'm still interested in getting to know her, but I'm not sure how my email sat with her.
Update: 3 hours after posting... I apologized via email, and I think it was the worst thing I could possibly have done. Before, I pretty much was saying to her "you're sexy hot etc etc etc" and now I'm apologizing for it??? wth kind of a man am I??? I wish more than anything I could take back that apology. Then, at least, I’d have my dignity. Comments?

Sophiesmom: my point is no matter what, I look weak now. It looks like I am trying to take back what I said by apologizing, when I actually meant it (it was just inappropriate at the time).

Maybe she thought the come on was wrong, and really may already be in a relationship, stop beating yourself up.
You did apologize and realize you were out of line...that speaks volumes...chin up old chap...better days coming.

OK, first off, you're better off with girls advice, because i know exactly how she feels. in one day, i Had three guys confess their love for me via email....it was weird, i didn't know how to respond, so i left it for a couple days, later saying i was sick and couldn't check my email. (this was during summer) anyway....i do agree that your email may have bee a bit... how do you say it....awkward...but at least you told her the truth! and by the way, its good for you to apologize after, cause you realized that you did something wrong. my best advice, is to get to know her just as friends...then if things seem right, ask her out! good luck with this, hope i helped!!!!

Sorry, if a guy offends me or writes any vulgar messages via E-mail especially if I didn't know him really well, I would totally block him and never talk to him again. There is no lost on my end, I ended up not meeting a jerk. I don't know what you can write to her that would change her mind other then the fact she might feel sorry for you and write back. You might want to meet a girl that can handle your type of humour.

dude - you have it right - you crossed the line, she didn't feel it and as soon as you apologized, you lost any and all mystique you may have had - now she sees you as a weirdo - not trying to dog you out, but I think the best thing would have been to not email her an apology - good luck

What makes you think you lost your dignity by apologizing?
It takes more of a man to say he is sorry about something stupid he said and a female will have more respect for you....
