Yeah, God is definately overworked. He knocked the world together in 6 days. Imagine how much better it would be if he had the time to do a proper job.

It all depends on which point of view you are seeking. According to Advaita, the soul is like a small amount of air within a pot. When the pot is shattered, the air all becomes one. (ghaTaakaasha, mahaakaasha). According to Vishishtadvaita, the physical separation is ended, and the individual Atma becomes the same "tattva" as the Brahman. However, it is endowed with a sukshma manas (subtle mind), with which it can enjoy the bliss of Brahmapada. According to Dvaita, the individual soul stays separate, with a separate sukshma sharira and sukshma manas, and enjoys the Ananda of Brahma pada. So, it depends on whether you consider that (1) there is individual consciousness after mukti or (2) there is not. If you believe in the first view, then the individual Atma can reach the saalokya (same-world), saamiipya (closeness), saaruupya (same-form) with Brahman, but not saaguNya (same nature), because the Atma cannot create even though it is all-pervasive. If you believe in the second view, then there is no individuality after mukti, so there is no question of enjoyment on the part of the Atma. In this case the Jiva ceases to exist separately. There is only one Brahman. The Upanishads have statements that support all three Advaita, V.advaita and Dvaita. It appears that reality is not as simple as described by any one of these.

God doesnt need helpers, if you want you can read what Quran says about that:

"He is the lord, the Creator, the Inventor of all things, the Bestower of forms. To Him belong the Best Names. All that are in the heavens and the earth glorify Him and He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise."
Quran (59: 24)

The Quran describes God's attributes and confirms His names and His qualities:

1) God is one and only, eternal and absolute,
"Say: He is God, the One and Only; God, the Eternal, Absolute..." (112:1-2)
2) Nothing is like him. He is the Creator, not created, nor a part of His creation:
"There is nothing like Him and He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer" (42:11)
3) God has no limits of ability:
"Originator of the heavens and the earth. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, "Be" and it is." (2:117).
" And of His signs is that you see the earth stilled, but when we send down upon it rain, it quivers and grows. Indeed, He who has given life is the Giver of life to the dead. Indeed, He is over all things competent." (41: 39)
4) He is All-Powerful, absolutely Just. He was when nothing was, and will be when nothing else remains. He is All-Merciful, the Supreme, the Sovereign.
"Allah-there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission. He knows what is presently before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His chair extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the most High, the Most Great." (2:225).
5) It is only He who is capable of granting life to anything:
"There is no deity except Him; He gives life and causes death. He is your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers. (44:8)

The universe has been expanding for 13 billion years, If you believe in a God its been taking its time doing all this. There are billions of galaxies, one galaxy has billions of stars, each star may or may not have some planets. Check this picture out, its a 10,000 galaxies... not even a pin prick in the universe. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/2f/Hubble_ultra_deep_field.jpg

If there is an intelligence that created the universe, then its perfectly acceptable to assume there could be 2 such Intelligences working together or 3, or well you get the idea.

I dont accept the organised Christian faith's idea of a 'God' and with that any notion of a son in the form of Jesus, the whole think harks of:

if you ask me.

I could accept some kind of intelligence or intelligences as some kind of plan in creating the universe, just as i could accept the whole universe is only there because we can see it , etc etc insert countless theories as to the nature of the universe, of which christianity, Islam, etc are pretty 'hard to swallow' ideas in my opinion.

Some of the people answering on this site will be God's helpers on the other side, some are at the present moment. Learn to love and forgive others, it is only as complicated as you make it.

Often wondered about that. "And God created the Heavens and the Earth"...Is that like saying Michelangelo painted the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel? Gave direction, did bits himself, and called a bunch of painters and decorators in to get the job done on time?

Who are God's builders? And did they do to him what builders have being doing ever since? Turn up, suck their teeth, tell him whoever made the nothingness was a right cowboy, quote him a hideous price, start work, then leave for a month to do another job in a neighbouring universe, claiming their brother-in-law had borrowed their quantum accelerator?

Yes, the universe is definitely very huge. Nothing is too difficult for Him. But He has lots and lots of holy angels to do all kinds of tasks, e.g. recording what we do and think, recording all our prayers, doing missions like saving His children from disasters, accidents, etc., and the list goes on and on.... Jesus had to die because there is no other way for the sinful human race to enter heaven and dwell with the Holy God. As high as the sky is above the earth, so high are His ways above ours. His wisdom is beyond our comprehension....and His solution for us to enter heaven is through Jesus' death on the cross.

surely this depends on whether you belive god exsists. if he dosent then were not being watched at all, and therefore theres the answer to one half of the discussion but if he does he'd have to have some form of super power to be able to see everything. i mean you can never rely on your staff to tell you the absolute truth, what if there being bribed by the people, so that they can do awfull things and still get into heaven. you can never completley trust the people you employ. and come on how many people in the world are rooting for god to fail?

God;s helpers are the angels God who control everything

Yea that's the idea. God reportedly does not suffer from any of the limitations, physical, mental, emotional, etc that plague us as human beings. So he does not need helpers- he can do everything at once.
