Hmm...I think Jasmine B and Mary T had a couple of doozies there.
My own favourite inspiring quote is from Gandhi - "You must be the change you wish to see in the world". But I also rather like Richard Bach's line (which I never remember exactly, but in the following form): "Don't giggle on the way to your crucifixion. It gives the game away and really spoils it for everyone else..."

"Anyone can slay a dragon ...but try waking up every morning and loving the world all over again. That's what takes a real hero." -Brian Andreas “Every exit is an entry somewhere else.” – Tom Stoppard “One day the years of struggle will strike you as the most beautiful.” – Sigmund Freud That's three. :P I have a whole Word document of my favorite quotes, lol. Never look back unless you're planning to go that way -- Henry David Thoreau.
An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind -- Ghandi, yeah, this one's overused.
Love is a canvas, furnished by nature, and embroidered by imagination -- Voltaire.

Hi,
i like your quote very much...
I think it is very inspirational...
what better quote could you have for a school?
Actually, i think its perfect... it could spark an excellent discussion and really get the students thinking... i think that children 10 years and over would be able to get their heads around that.
I think that your quote is empowering and could be a very powerful tool for children... that is just the right time in life (a young person with their life in front of them) to hear a quote like that.
Just for your interest, here is my favourite quote, but it probably isn't suitable for a school:
'The mind is its own place and in itself can make a heaven of hell, and a hell of heaven'.
John Milton.

Questions... thay are what make up the sum total of all knowledge in all of human existence. Without them, we would have no desire to grow, learn, or explore. The only stupid questions are those not asked...
