i was in hawaii last week. I got a really nice tan. Although i was a little sun burn, i used alot of lotion everyday. now.. a few days later, i'm starting to peal alot!! Now my tan is soo uneven! how do i prevent pealing in the future? When you get a sunburn, does that mean that you WILL eventually peal?........ btw.. does using sunscreen prevent tanning? or do you still get tan

Thanks

First tanning is bad for the skin. It's really a form of skin damage. It can also cause skin cancer, which is the most common form of cancer. It also causes wrinkles, liver spots and leathery skin. There is no way to prevent peeling after a burn.

Sunscreen is just a factor based on minutes. A factor of 20 means that a person with the sun screen will take 20 minutes to get the effect of a person that has been out in the sun without lotion for 1 minute. You will still tan.

To prevent peeling, right after you tan apply aloe vera gel, the pure kind, and make sure that alcohol is NOT in the ingredients because that kind will still make you peel. Apply it generously for about 3 days, making sure to cover all areas.

you can still get a tan whilst wearing sunscreen, but if it is toyal sunblock, then you won't, Aloe vera is the best thing for burnt skin, also, if you don't have any aloe then you could put baby oil on to wet skin when you get out of the shower, dont dry skin but rub the oil in till it is absorbed. .
