Hogwash based on fantasy fallacy and superstitious thought.
I'm just not mentally deficient or gulible enough to buy into this stuff. people fictionalize and then support that fiction with more of the same kind of thinking ..it's a dismal dismaying shame on the order of a flat planet or a world only 6,000 years old . Religion of this type is blind as a sot.

Very, very intriguing. And I cannot prove that that is not true.
However, my own personal opinion about the whole, "My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken me?".......
Jesus was a great man. One who stood for something and had no problem sharing his views. But, he was a man, and (for lack of a better reason), because of Adam, thought that at the moment of truth, God would reveal Himself to Jesus and all those who witnessed the crucifixion. By revealing himself, he'd surely have spared Jesus' life for the doubters would be able to doubt no more. Waiting....waiting.....waiting....allll that pain and suffering, to spread a message.....
I believe at the exact moment he uttered those words, he....even if only for a brief moment of dementia, doubted his whole existence....because NO man WANTS to die.
I believe he carried on a charade, and went along with the whole dying for others routine, so he would not lose any of his followers. I believe there was a part of him that was like, "You were serious?" aimed at God...because he didn't understand the entirety of the plan.
I cannot explain the disappearance of his body three days later. But, you have to admit (and, it's the stuff urban legends are made of), that he was so loved and cherished by so many, it's conceivable that his body was exhumed, taken from the unmarked "grave", and buried elsewhere. Somewhere that he would not be discovered, and only known to a select few.......can't prove it.....but it IS possible....
Very good article, btw....and I am an agnostic.

Honestly? It reads a lot like Lee Strobel's "The Case for Christ", where someone can barely call themself an agnostic, and are merely seeking permission to believe.

A little bit of false skepticism doesn't make for a true agnostic, and in turn, isn't compelling to someone who is comfortable staying away from others' beliefs.

The thing that makes me not beleive and live a life of Atheism isnt a misinterpretation of a story in the Bible or even an attempt to discredit the values it teaches, but the logical understanding and process of Religious thought.

Yeah, real interesting. Though I'd rather a scientific explanation and not a philosophical one that doesn't take into consideration so much more of the evidence against Christianity. One cannot prove Christianity without disproving all scientific evidence against it, and practically all other religions must be taken into consideration, nit just Christianity.

Even though I'm not supposed to answer this question, I think that his logic is flawed on numerous occasions.
