I have this relaly weird back and neck pain that comes at random times. The pain ranges from soreness to burning. The pain is always located at the part of my back directly behind my breasts. I've also gotten neck pain. The neck pain is usually soreness and is at the back of my neck. it feels like someone is pulling on the muscles of my neck. I was wondering if my breasts could be the cause or is it something else? I am a D cup but I haven't been properly fitted in a long time and recent trips to the department store are showing that I might be growing to a DD. If my breasts are the culprit would that mean I need a breast reduction or is there another alternative?

My breasts were a D cup for a long time, years and this is the first sign of any trouble.

I would suggest supportive proper fitting bra and talking to your doctor about a strengthening program for your back muscles. Stress is a big contributor also to neck and back pain. Find ways to relax and be good to yourself. Take care.

What you are describing is a muscle spasm.
Sounds like your breasts are the culprit. I have had clients who, after a breast augmentation, started having back pain due to the extra weight.
I agree with the other answerer's recommending more support.
Massage and exercise will greatly help.
Good Luck

IF your breasts are causing you pain, a reduction would greatly relieve you of the pain as it did when I had mine done in Feb 2006.

SOMETIMES a correctly fitting and very supportive bra will help, but not always.

Go get properly sized at Nordstroms, JCPenney or Sears (NOT Victoria Secret, they size incorrectly, speaking from experience and other women's negative remarks about their sizing abilities).
