My mom's made-from-scratch cherry pie, warm from the oven with french vanilla ice cream melting on top. The crust was a wonderful combination of sweet, buttery flakiness and a little doughy that combined well with the tart-sweetness of the cherries. The ice cream on that warm pie....melting down and adding a rich coat of cream to everything....well, that was just about heaven!

Creampuffs.
But there are others that come close. Bread pudding with sauce is wonderful, and so is fresh strawberries over shortbread, with milk to cover.
