I didn't ask how it worked, I asked what causes it altogether.

'Surely God causes the sun to rise from the east, so make it rise from the west.' 2: 258

See by saying ''gravity'' you're not exactly proving me wrong. In this verse from the Holy Quran God says that he ''causes'' the sun to rise from the east, emphasis on Causes (cause : a justification for something existing or happening.) So in saying ''causes the sun to rise'', God makes it clear that a first event (which we now know is Gravity) causes the sun to rise. So once again, the Quran gets it right.

The big bang forced the (before it even existed) hurling into space hundreds of thousands of miles an hour. While it was traveling, it picked up more matter and became what it is today. Jupiter, and all the other planets were doing the same thing, but the Sun became a star first, and Jupiter, and the rest of the planets were caught in its orbit. Millions of years later, a planet the size of mars crashed into Proto-Earth, and the cracked earth and other planet formed together to become the moon. The moon moved around the Earth by the force of gravity, which most Physicists say is caused by gravitrons, a subatomic particle. The Earth was caught in the Sun's orbit by the same force, and they continue to fling through space together caught by each-other's gravity at hundreds of thousands of miles an hour.

When believing in some sort of god they will actually exist in the suburbs of this multiversum....They have to work in this huge powerstation that makes the sun and moon and all that rotate and make the clock tick. It entirely runs on the burning of souls of people who die here on earth. And what i've heard they don't make a distinction between people who lived "good" or bad"... As the multiverse expands they need more souls so they infiltrated earth and these folk encourage us to have lot's of kids who eventually start more wars...cause more diseases and poverty all for more fuel... Think about that when you watch the sunset with your lover on the beach...hahahah

Are you aware of how big the Sun really is?
Do you know that less than 1% of the Sun's radiation actually hits the Earth?
Have you ever seen a solar flare?
Did you take an astrophysics test? (Those frickin math problems are DIFFICULT)

OKOK, I lie. Do you remember that episode on Naruto Shippuuden where the puppet master can control the puppet only with strings of shakra? Well, that's how its' done. Invisible strings of shakra, like a cat's toy strung up by a tack on the wall.

I suggest years of study in physics if you are serious . Or just watch "The Universe" on The History Channel for an authoritative yet simplified explanation.
I guarantee god doesn't play with planets like yoyo's on a string. What causes the your keyboard to type your questions?

In other words, what's the definition of an orbit?

In physics, an orbit is the path that an object makes around another object while under the influence of a source of centripetal force, such as gravity.

Are you going to ask the question again and direct it to other groups?

Gravity, which has been theorized to be a physical reaction to the gaps in scientific knowledge of religionists. Although creationists have another theory...the 'Intelligent Falling' theory:

Newton nailed this one almost 400years ago. Angular momentum and gravity. Everything in the universe is in motion. Gods unchanging and immutable universe does not exist in reality.

Your questions says :

Atheists, what causes the Motion of the Sun, the Earth, and the Moon ?

Answers :

Theists, gravity causes the motion of the Sun, the Earth and the Moon.

Now is that clearer?

Ok first there isnt an easy way to explain this without Going on and on about Physics and Astromomy...I suggest looking up the answers yourself. FYI Checking a Christian website will not give you good answers.
