If you write well, you open a window of thoughts to the reader.
The pane is transparent, allows them to see your thoughts.

good writing is like a window pane means:
that a good peice of writing is like a window to so many different worlds outside ones own thoughts. It is a connector between the inner world and the outer world of thoughts. A window pane is the base on which a window is fixed, you can never fix a window without a window pane, in a similar manner a window pane is a base for one to enter a new world of thoughts or the wide world outside. It is abase on which one builds his / her principles ,thoughts and thinking

Good writing is the window that opens up a whole new world for someone who is reading. It is like a pane, it is the framework that can support great thoughts or provide inspiration. Basically what it means is that through good writing you can open doors (or as the case may be windows) to knowledge and learning.

hmmm...well the way i see it is that windows/glass are made up of many many tiny grains of sand, each different and unique but formed into one almost perfect sheet of glass one can see thorough or out of and take what they are seeing and use it to their advantage, or disadvantage....good writing is made up if many words each different and unique formed into an almost perfect piece of writing one can interpret in their own ways and use to their advantage or disadvantage...its all how you look at it

It means that you can use Windex to make your writing clean, neat, and readable.

Also use a No.# pencil when writing parenthetically.
