I know most girls want to like nice guys, but they'll go after the 'bad boy' type every time. Why are so many girls like this?

You girls don't like "nice" guys because you don't notice us.
Yes, that's partially our fault too, though. Let me explain.
It's not very common for us nice guys to make the first move on the girls. The non-nice guys are so smooth and nerve free, they'll just walk up an attractive girl and pinch her *** or something and there in. A nice guy of course isn't going to pinch a girls *** to get her attention.
I know, I know my explanation is a little off, but you get my point right? I don't mean to upset any of you ladies.

Its not that they want the bag boys, Its probably who they are being approached by and who has more confidence. A lot of "nice guys" are quiet shy and not very good with the ladies. Plus girls USUALLY dont make the first move. So if you are one of those nice guys next time approach that girl with confidence and Im sure she will talk to you.

I'm a girl and I totally like nice guys.
The problem is with some people's definition of "nice". You know how sometimes you're asked to describe someone, and you don't know what to say, so what do you do? you say "oh yeah he's nice". Do you know what I'm saying? it means he's boring, nothing to say about him.
I like nice guys who are interesting and funny. Confidence is also important, but I like a "quiet confidence" rather than arrogance. Confident/strong etc is not the opposite of nice.
I don't like "nice" guys who are actually door mats.
And I also don't like "nice" guys who complain that girls don't like nice guys. Nobody likes a whiner.

My boyfriend's what you'd call a nice guy. Nice in the fact that he's doesn't treat me like dog crap all the time. He's very caring, responsible, and stable. I need to realize that just because he's not up my *** 24 hours a day 7 days a week that he does still love me.

I don't know where you live, but there is a radio DJ that will help you. Tom Leykis (sp?). You can google him to find out if he broadcasts in your area.
In a nutshell - girls don't like nice guys because they find them boring and easily taken advantage of.
Examples:
They're late for your date... thats okay. They stayed out too late with their girlfriends... no problem. You're a nice guy - you understand. You'll still pay for dinner tomorrow.
Man-up, my friend. Start looking out for #1 - you. If they don't want what you're interested in, move on. You'll save your self-respect and not waste time and money on some girl who knows she can walk all over you.

I'm not like those girls. I like the nice guys... I stick with nice guys all the way.
The girls who like bad boys - are looking to get excitement. Like to play.

treat the girls like crap
and girl cannot handle a guy not liking them

Because they are young...after you get screwed by the 'bad boys' you start looking for a good one...it is just a faze that all women go through sometimes it last longer for some than others

i don't know about them. but i like nice guys and would definitely go for nice guys over bad bods.
but i'm thinking maybe this nice guy needs to reinvent himself and try being not so predictive. girls do needs some rough rides once in a while.

I think its that they see the nice guys more as friends and mot lovers and the bad boys seems like taboo and every one wants what they cant have
