I actually liked the premise of The Last Temptation, and there were moments that were brilliant. I mean the Bible tells us that Jesus was tempted in every way just as we are, but no one stops to think what that means. People just reacted to the movie because it depicted an internal struggle. What if Jesus just walked away from his ministry and lived out his days as a comfortable Jewish man? If Jesus was tempted and yet without sin, then that means he had to have been confronted with such thoughts in his last hours. I thought just asking the questions makes Jesus seem more human. And Dafoe was great.

The story was the same old story that's been told a million times.. No more believable on the big screen than it was in the book..

The acting was awful, the cinematography was appalling...
If it were to come out today it would tank at the box office... Mel Gibson's reputation is shot... The only reason it made money before was because his name was attached to it and he had a relatively decent reputation..

It was an interesting work of fiction. Those bronze age middle eastern goat herders fairy tales make interesting scenario bases.
I did prefer Lord Of The Ring though.

I nevertheless debate the respond to this and that become an prolonged time in the past. the cost become out of the ordinary yet, on the different hand the satisfaction become too. i don't comprehend, stressful to declare. i does not do it returned so perhaps..........No.
