I need to know if it will be snowing on christmas, December 25, 2007, this year in Big Bear Lake, California. I'm not sure what other information you need, but the zip is 92315, just in case. Please if you have a farmers' almanac, or anything else that helps, please share!

Hi Snazzilicious - love your name.

The Farmers Almanac only predicts weather by 10 large regions. Big Bear Lake is in region 2. The 2007 almanac only goes through October. The 2008 almanac would cover Dec. of 2007.

The almanac also only 'predicts' in a loose way. For example, the Dec. 2006 prediction for region 2 snow reads this way: "Precipitation should fall mainly as snow over the northern mountains about December 2-5, 11-12, 17-18, and 31".

The almanac is never precisely correct, and unfortunately, the last two years of predictions by the book for here in Montana (region 3) have been totally wrong! Totally wrong!

Hope you find this helpful, even though it doesn't give you the info. you are seeking.
