If a DVD player has DVD-RW compatability does it also play the DVD-RW VR mode discs?
VR mode is a format that you can edit on your DVD recorder\player (only DVD-RW's can do this)
I'm looking for a DVD player that I can play the stuff that I recorded and don't neccesarily want to pay too much. Please help!

DVD recorders that support -VR (or +VR) can certainly play the files they record. However standard DVD players usually don't play -VR movies.

This is an excellent DVD player that plays just about everything (DivX and XviD files) and it is pretty cheap.
