God is supposed to be loving, and forgiving. How can He send one of His own children to hell if they haven't made the best descions in their lifetime?

I haven't lived that holy of a life. I sin on a daily basis, but deep down I'm still a good person and apologize to God at the end of the day for anything I may have done.

Shouldn't God only send people who are truely evil with no remorse to hell? If He sends good people who happened to have made huge mistakes within their lifetime to hell, does that make Him evil?

The concept of Hell is a creation of people to control other people. Much like the "bogeyman" was used by parents to control unruly children.

Heaven and hell exist right here, right now. We chose which we experience.

You say you sin on a daily basis. By whose standards are you sinning? If your child did the things you are calling your sins, would you sentence him/her to eternal torment? I'm not asking for public answers, just want you to think on that yourself.

God doesn't send people to hell. People choose to go to hell. How? By not accepting Christ as their Savior for one. Remember what it says in the Bible? "No one comes to the Father except through me." Jesus said that.

I'm a Christian and I sin on a daily bases. Just as you do. And I apologize just as you do. But you're forgetting something. You must ask for forgiveness. Apology and forgiveness and two different things.

When you accept Christ as our Savior and ask for forgiveness, every single sin we've ever committed is not just forgiven. It's forgotten. Isn't that awesome? So be sure to ask for forgiveness often.

And don't worry, those who are evil without remorse do go to hell. And unfortunately those who are good people go too. My husband and I were on our way until we found Christ.

God is and always will be loving and forgiving. Don't you think it breaks His heart when just one of His children remains lost? Why do you think He sent Jesus to save us? And yet, He's still rejected. Just take a look at some of the people in here. It's very very sad.

I hope I've been able to help. Feel free to email at any time.

God Bless.

Hell is the torment a person with a developed concience feels when they realize they made an evil decision and act . The threat of the (imaginary) afterlife hell is something created by leaders to convince people with poorly developed conciences to behave in a manner that is good for society . The holding out the 'carrot' of the imaginary heaven is for the same reason . People with properly developed conciences bathe in the feeling of 'heaven' ( Being proud of themselves )when they realize they went out of their way to produce a result that was good for society .
A further continuance of this question is posed by asking why 'god' would allow a newborn baby , or even an innocent puppy or kitten ,to burn to death in a housefire .
There is no hell , no heaven , and no god who cares about ,or at least can't affect, anything that happens on Earth .

From the way Jesus taught us and the way the inspired Holy Scriptures teach us we can realize that God is LOVE. But what a difference there is when it comes to the things that men teach us today about God! In view of such teachings of men and seeing that God has done so much with our eternal blessing in mind, we are led to ask: If God is love, how could there be a place of eternal torment, called hell, where billions of human creatures in God’s image are said to go after death of the body? There fire and brimstone are said to be burning for eternity and condemned souls are said to remain there without release, in conscious torment. How could there be even such a place as “purgatory”, where souls are said to endure excruciating pains while they await their release to be taken to heaven? Why should it be God’s will that the vast majority of people should live and suffer in such poverty and distress, so that many people say man has his hell right here on earth? How can God’s being love harmonize with such ideas and teachings of men? When the God-fearing people at Berea were taught certain things even by the apostle Paul, they went “daily searching the scriptures, whether these things were so”. (Acts 17:11)

God doesn't send people to hell. Hell is a humanly concocted punishment. It is absolutely not God's will; nor does he do that. God is the "God of love, life, mercy, joy, happiness, reality, grace, forgiveness, tolerance." In God and with God all things are possible. Personalities who once and for all reject God, in their entire soul and being and whose decision to do such a thing is absolute (and I mean absolutely) and final, then only these choose to become ureality considering nothing unreal exists in God. In fact nothing but truth, beauty and goodness can exist at all, and in God this is everlastingly so. Those who some think will burn in hell, a few will actually cease to exist and never traverse time into eternal life. They really will become as if they never were. It's very sad for God doesn't desire to lose a single one.

It is not wise to create your own version of God without using the Bible as your guide, otherwise you are creating your own god, which is idolatry. As to your question, God does not send anyone to hell. In fact, scripture shows clearly that it is not God's will at all.

2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that ANY should perish but that ALL should come to repentance.

But God will not interrupt any man's free will to choose. We go there because we choose not to be with Him. If you do not want God, He will send you where none of His light or love exists. Jesus describes this as a place of eternal torment and outer darkness.

God has provided a free ticket out of outer darkness. If you refuse it, who will be there to blame, God or you?

In your details you mentioned that God should let you have a "pass" just because you are a good person. Well, you have a choice of answers. The first has no Biblical backing, just a nice, feel good doctrine based on man's opinion and Peter Pan advice. I do not think that is what you are looking for. What you need is the truth, and many times the truth hurts.
For salvation, what you need is a spiritual bone marrow transplant.Your spirit is sick and dying. You can do good works, and that is great, but that does not heal you of the disease. What you need is a transplant from the One who gave His marrow for you so that you can have brand new blood.
In the book of Numbers the people were being bitten by vipers. Everyone was bitten and had the venom in their veins, it was just a matter of time until they died. They repented and asked God to take away the serpents. God did not do that because it would not keep them from dying. Instead, He commanded a brass serpent be mounted on a standard. Anyone who looks upon this object would not die from the venom.
Jesus said that "You must be born again" and then added, "as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up."
Your answer lies in looking to Jesus as your Lord and Savior. As much as you do not want to hear this--it is your answer. You can't be saved by good works.

Titus 3:5
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us.

2 Timothy 1:9
Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began

Remember, if we are saved by works, who gets the glory, God? Or you for being such a great person?

Ephesians 2
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Hell is the State of Those who Reject God
----------------------------------------------------------

At the General Audience of Wednesday, 28 July 1999, the Holy Father reflected on hell as the definitive rejection of God. In his catechesis, the Pope said that care should be taken to interpret correctly the images of hell in Sacred Scripture, and explained that "hell is the ultimate consequence of sin itself... Rather than a place, hell indicates the state of those who freely and definitively separate themselves from God, the source of all life and joy".
God is the infinitely good and merciful Father. But man, called to respond to him freely, can unfortunately choose to reject his love and forgiveness once and for all, thus separating himself for ever from joyful communion with him. It is precisely this tragic situation that Christian doctrine explains when it speaks of eternal damnation or hell. It is not a punishment imposed externally by God but a development of premises already set by people in this life. The very dimension of unhappiness which this obscure condition brings can in a certain way be sensed in the light of some of the terrible experiences we have suffered which, as is commonly said, make life "hell".
In a theological sense however, hell is something else: it is the ultimate consequence of sin itself, which turns against the person who committed it. It is the state of those who definitively reject the Father's mercy, even at the last moment of their life.

God is not just loving and forgiving. He is just as well as the bible tells us. Therefor he must punish those who do wrong, and the wages of sin is death (eternal). But because he loved us, Jesus came down and died so we didn't have to. Hell was never meant to be for mankind. It was designed for Satan and the angels that choose to follow him. However, if we refuse to ask for forgiveness of what we've done, then we are sent to Hell, as this is God being Just to everyone. People may be "Good" but if they sin, they have done wrong, and should be punished.
