Why is it that when you ask anything about God, non believers automatically get offended.....even if you werent saying anything about what they believe or don't believe. Atheist somehow think it is ok for them to voice their opinion on the subject and how dumb we are to believe in God, but if you say anything about the subject you are somehow "disrespecting" them and what they believe....we as christians have a right also!! I don't expect to see eye to eye with people who don't believe there is a God, but i wouldn't disrespect what you believe. Treat others how you would like to be treated.

I personally don't bring it up, but when it comes up I simply laugh in the face of any atheist who try's to mock be for believing in God. My reason:

Atheist "why are you laughing? because you know I'm right?"
Me "No, I don't know which one of us is right, all I know is if your right, then your right and when we die nothing happens and we're worm food. But IF I"m right, and I pick the right religion then I Win, I go to heaven, and you go to hell, and even if I'm wrong, guess what.... YOU STILL GO TO HELL!!!" (resume laughing)

My friends tell me that I have a bizarre humorous grasp of the situation that I present, but am I wrong? No, why not believe in God, being an atheist like having a 1 in 1000 shot in a better life, and never pulling the trigger.

Are you serious? it seems to me like the christians are the ones who are all offended when we nonbelievers would like to discuss the subject. Many times I've listened for extended periods of time to theists and then I'll ask simple questions and they refuse to answer on the grounds that "it's personal" or "i believe what I believe and it's best not to challenge peoples beliefs." I say bring it on when people want to talk about god. I'm not offended in the least.

Some folks lack confidence in what they believe. They haven't taken time to learn what evidence eixsts for/against their beliefs.

I don't need to be emotional, even though I feel passionate about my faith at times.

I think it's good to have objective and contrarian conversations at times. It helps you see issues more fully.

Sorry to burst your bubble but I'm not offended by such questions. However, you may be offended by my answers.

The most curious social convention of the great age in which we live is the one to the effect that religious opinions should be respected.

I think it's because it hurts a little......they know, really know what they are suppose to do instead they lash out at Christians. It is so sad. Jesus is reaching out to them. They just don't reach back.

Did you see the video I had out for a question for Christians? In case you would like to see it, here is the link:

Wouldn't it be nice if other groups gave Christians the same level of tolerance that they demand from us?

why are you even surprised or hurt? they have an anti-christ spirit and are still walking in darkness. remember Ephesians 6:12, For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities......
Blessed are you when they persecute you for His name...........
Stand, be strong and of good courage.
Get into the Word and learn to put on the whole armor of GOD.

They can be just as judge mental and hypocritical as they claim believers to be. You have to accept, well from answer I have got , that we are wrong, stupid, ignorant, and pretty much mental. Don't let it bother you do much though, you have faith, and the lord... they don't.
