I would perhaps like to work with cancer patients, particularly children. I would actually like to work at St. Jude's Children Hospital...so are there any doctors that specialize in that?

there are 2 main types of cancer doctors, Radiation Oncologists and Medical Oncologists (chemo). Also, there are many others who work with cancer patients, nurses, psychologists, dietitians, radiation therapists, social workers, physical/ occupation therapists. Good luck

Yes, there are different types and all are called Oncologists. Some are Radiologist Oncologists specializing in radiology therapy. Yet others prescribe medicines after the radiology or manage chemotherapy. Good luck, the world needs more caring physicians who want to help children.
