I do believe in God, yes I have accepted Jesus, and Heaven is hopefull my future home. I believe in God because of my life, and even though I havn't always had a great life, God has provided me with so much. His love for me, is proof, and my faith, I just know he is there, I know he is with me, and non-believers mock this, but I don't care God is with me always. Proof is in your faith... If you really want to learn more, read Case for Christ, it proves books in the bible.

The Bible is 3500 - 4000 yrs old. The books were written out through that time. The new Testament is 2000 yrs old though.
There's more proof of God then there is not and I love science. But to each there own. The bible has no control over people but instead gives equality to all and shows you how to live a better life without hurting others. The main thing is says is to say Hi to God and Jesus and tell them you love them. Why people make a big fuss over this I just don't know.

I do believe in God/Jesus/Heaven and as such I believe that God and Jesus made it clear that faith has value. I don't pretend to understand the reason why people need faith to have a relationship with God, but I do know that if there was "proof", then faith would be unnecessary.

What if faith is actually your "seventh sense" (assuming the existence of the "sixth sense" some people believe we all have). Sight, hearing, tasting, touching, smelling...without your physical body, those senses would be useless. What then would you have to perceive a life beyond the death of your body? Perhaps faith gives us the ability to perceive heaven. I'd even go so far as to suggest that it allows us to perceive evidence that supports our belief (no, not "proof" for with that I would lose my faith!) while we are alive and may be responsible for teaching us lessons that we need to learn before we can exist in God's kingdom.

Yes. the same way it is proven that water is hydrogen and oxygen. But do you really believe it or are you just taking your teachers word for it?
You wouldn't know hydrogen without a label and you certainly can't divide the oxygen out of air, in order to examine and prove it's oxygen. So how is it that you believe water is H2O?

With math, you can prove. With elements, you are not a scientist and are therefore taking the word of science that it is so.

I can prove God and heaven, in the same way but wouldn't that be pointless? You want to see, feel, taste and touch, when it comes to God but you'll believe Oxygen is real because somebody has taught you that you use it and because it comes with a label that you can see, feel and touch.

I do believe in a concept of God, but it isn't as described in any Bible.

Jesus was a man with an excellent ability to manipulate the life energy that is all around and in us. He was gifted with the Christ Consciousness.

Heaven or Hell exists right here, right now. You chose which one you experience.

The Bible is the product of men designed to control men. I believe it was originally intended for the good of all, but was manipulated into something of a lesser light by early church leaders.

Tell ya' what, Izzy. Get a copy of the Bible, and read the Gospel of John. If you are impressed, you can read the other Gospels as well. Then, if you want to get to know this Jesus more personally, go to a quite place and tell Him that you would like to get to know Him."..and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out." - Jesus Christ

the proof is your own faith. its seeing a prayer answered. its witnessing a miracle. theres tons of proof out there-you just have to open your eyes to see it.

and a question for you.. wouldnt it be better to "waste your time" believing in something that you thought might not exist and find out you were wrong-it did exist, and know you were going to heaven?
or not believe, find out you were wrong and go to hell?

i chose the lesser of two evils.
what have you got to lose?

Don't believe any of it. There is no proof. The whole concept of religion is simple modern-day mythology.
