the millitary retirerd the plane from active service. Does that mean that the Blue Angles no longer fly

No, the Blue Angels never flew the F-14.
They began in June 1946 flying the F-6F Hellcat and quickly changed to the F8F Bearcat. In the late 1940’s the they transitioned to their first jet aircraft, the Grumman F9F-2 Panther. One year later they began flying the newer and faster version of the Panther, the F9F-5. In 1957 they began flying the Grumman F11F-1 Tiger. 1969 they flew the McDonnell Douglas F-4J Phantom II. In December 1974,they began flying the McDonnell Douglas A-4F Skyhawk II. And on November 8 1986, they transitioned to their present aircraft, the then new sleek F/A-18 Hornet.
