my last bf broke up with me at the begining of the summer because he said that he wanted to hang out with his freinds and didnt want to worry bout havin a gf.after he dumped me he was being a total jerk to me by like always ignoring me whenever i wanted to talk to him cause i was so confused and he would say all these things to me when he was around his freinds.he sent me an email sayin he was sorry. and we never talked since and through most of the summer i still liked him for sum reason and now that school started. its so awkard bewtween us and i dont know how to get over him. becuase he was the biggest jackass to me. how do u get over sumone?

You have to just keep thinking about the fact that he treated you badly. Most of the feelings you have from him are probably just left over from your relationship. I don't really think that you should just go and look for someone else, because there's no point in just going out with someone for the sake of going out with them. You should go out with them because you feel a connection and can see a future with them. But with this relationship, you definitely need closure. Try to talk to him at the very least to say goodbye properly and to tell him you don't want any hard feelings between the two of you. If he doesn't agree, just leave and don't retaliate, it's the most you can do.

Make a list of all the negative things he did, and think about those things whenever you think about him. Don't think about any good things, and only focus on the things on this list, and you will seriously start to hate his guts lol. I know you don't wanna hear this but sometimes it just takes time. They say it takes you half the amount of time you were with a person to get over them. Just hang out with your friends, and try to meet new people, and eventually you will forget all about him. Plus, make sure he sees you having fun, not sulking around missing him! Just try to remember, everything happens for a reason, so if your not meant to be then you won't be. Hope this helps!

First of all, you have to force yourself to avoid him whenever you see him. If he doesn't see you, you can retreat and go to the other direction. If he sees you, you have to walk straight ahead and pretend not to see him. Next, avoid hanging out to places where you and this guy used to go. Then, you try to go out with other guys. Not his friends or someone he knew if possible. Cause for all we know, he might be a "kiss and tell". If he tries to be friendly, just smile and excuse yourself. If he tries to have a conversation with you, just keep it to a "question and answer", as in, he asks and you answer, then end of the talk. Try to reason with yourself. You're better off without him. You deserve better treatment than what he did to you. As they say, "there are other fishes in the sea".

To get over someone-------The most important thing is to hide your true intentions or feelings which you have for that person......If you act like an open book then everyone will find a way to predict you........Which will put you in confusion...
You are a simple girl so try your very best to supress your feelings which you have for that person.......try to judge what people think about you.........whether they treat you a TOM BOY or as a princess.........If they treat you as a princess then you have the cards in your hand..........to play the game....but play it safely dear..............the game is not simple........

There's nothing specific you can do except give it time. It also helps not to see him, so maybe join some clubs at school so that you don't have to hang out somewhere close to him during breaks/lunch.

hang out with friends/family
just try not to think about him
some good songs are "believe" by cher
and "Stronger" by kayne west
just dont listen to "what hurts the most" by rascal flats
that will just make you depressed
