Dr. Pepper was my favorite for many years up until recently.
Throughout my life there has been a battle within me between which is better; A&W's old fashioned root beer, or Dr. Pepper.
A&W's old fashioned root beer is currently in the #1 position.
But hey, next year Dr. Pepper might be in front again!
Cream soda has been trying awfully hard to win me over too! You never know...it just might!
Oh and FYI Dr. Pepper was invented in 1885 by a pharmacist in Texas named Charles Alderton.
Also, the famous 10 2 and 4 logo and label stemmed from an actual scientific study of the 1920s which showed that the average person's blood sugar level was lowest at 10:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. thus drinking a Dr Pepper at 10, 2, and 4 helped to prevent a drop in energy.
Wouldn't you like to be a Pepper too??
Hmmm...now that I think of it 'Boylans' soda company out of New Jersey has been making some excellent pop since 1891. And they use pure cane sugar. Very nice flavour!

Almost the best but I prefer a good root beer. And I don't mean A&W stuff it's fake
cause it says caffeine free and true root beer is made from the yarrow root. That root is fermented to make root beer. Yarrow root is used for other things also.!
Often I do drink Dr.Pepper it's better than Pepsi or Coca Cola, when I don't see a good root beer and want a good pop!

It's all a matter of opinion. If I'm out at a restaurant that serves Dr. Pepper, I'll take it! But, if I'm buying my own, I'll go with IBC Root Beer or Jones' Cream Soda.

It's worth a drive to Detroit to get it.
And white birch beer is better than Dr. Pepper, too.

When I did drink cola, Pepsi was my favorite. But I favor the natural. There's nothing like a tall cool glass of refreshing water. None can compare. :-)

Oh yes, I forgot. You can still get the original Dr. Pepper made w/ real sugar in Plano, Texas. In the original bottle.

I have to disagree only because I am a pepsi fan. While other people are drinking Starbucks for breakfast, I am having a diet Pepsi. Don't tell my mom.
