The Ragdoll and Siberian breeds take two full years to reach maturity in size and coat.

Most cats are about full grown with their bones around one year, but the internal organs and the muscles will take another 6 months to mature.

Most cats keep growing until they are about 2 or 3. It depends on their health, the quality and quantity of food they get and whether or not the are fixed. Unaltered males grow for up to 3 years, females for up to 2. A cat is considered elder when they reach 7 years or more.

Most cats are grown at one to one and a half years. My Mincho continued to grow longer until he was four years old (he is a Norwegian Forest wannabe). Gaining weight is not growth and 11 to 13 lbs is about right for most male cats. Females are healthiest at 7 to 10. Of course, as with people, the norms don't apply to all cats.

Vets now consider cats "seniors" starting at eight years but that's only 46 in human terms - hardly old age. And beyond 10 years some health problems can surface, especially is a cat is losing weight or is overweight.

about two they should be full size. but they will always grow and change. develop muscle mass..lose it..they might get fat or thin. just like humans. they are trouble until around 5 when they start being grown up kitties. By ten they are getting on. Some cats live until 20. feed it the best food and teach it not to go on the road. dont forget the yearly flu injections and flea treatments and worming.

The majority of a cats growth takes place in their first year, but I think that like humans, they are always growing, just at a much slower rate. My cat grew(GAINED!!!) 2 pounds this year and he is almost 3. :)

Lenght wise maybe. Weight wise, that depends. Harley my fat boy, is 7 and his weight is still increasing some. He is not as active when he was a kitten, and I found that after a cat is fixed they tend to get a little plumper. Hopefully pleasantly plump. My Harley has got to weigh close to 20 lbs!!!
