Well... have you had her checked for worms and parasites?? Do you feed her quality dog food?? I would take her to the vet and rule out a health issue.. And check to make sure you are feeding quality food..
Shi-zu Cocker poo?? The name suggests to me that they are going to have accidents all the time...

How large is the kennel? It may be too large for her. The dog should have enough room to comfortably lie down and move around, but not so much room that they can go to one end of the kennel and use the bathroom, then retreat to the other end.
When you're first beginning the crate training process, you'll need to take them outside to use the bathroom about every other hour at LEAST. Some puppies require every hour. They have very small bladders, so they'll pee more frequently. They also have less control over their poop. You may need to get up during the night and take her outside to use the bathroom, because she might not be able to hold it that long.
Taking them outside and letting them use the bathroom on the grass, then praising them for it when they do it right is how you teach them where to go. If you don't see her poop in the kennel, you can't scold her for it, because she won't know what you're scolding her for.
You might also try changing her feeding routine. Don't leave food down for her to eat all night. Don't feed her after 4pm. Her digestion should be complete by 11pm, and she should be ready to poop by then. Take her out before you go to bed, then maybe get up and take her out once during the night to make sure she's "empty".
It's a lot of work, but once she gets the hang of it, she'll be fine.

I have had dogs for years, and they have never ever had an accident in their kennel. I t would be like you messing your bed, or on your couch. It's there "place". How long are you leaving her locked in the Kennel ?? Would be my first question, 2nd question is where is the male ? Is he in his own kennel, or are they sharing ?? How long is she eating before you lock her in kennel ?? Does she get out after she has had enough time to digest her supper ?? If you don't want the mess in the kennel, leave her door open, and put some newspapers (LOTS!!) outside of her kennel, so if she has to go....better on the newspaper... Have you talked to your vet ?? Sorry so many questions, although need to know. Good Luck... Dogs are our best friends....

Sorry if someone else already answered this way: Are you feeding the dog before she goes in her kennel? Try no food 2 hours before bedtime, and take her out 30 min after eating, and again RIGHT before she goes in the kennel. I am guessing this is why this is happening...if not, I would consult the vet.

If you have an adjustable-size kennel, try making it smaller when she sleeps. Dogs generally do not like to mess where they sleep. If your kennel does not adjust in size, you can put a box of some sort to block off part of it. Good luck!

Get her to the vet. It sounds like she's got worms. I have dog-sat for a neighbor and that's what cause his dog to mess in his crate contsantly...
She doesn't really wait to do it in her kennel. It distresses her and she cannot prevent it.

She might have too much room. Try adjusting the kennel divider to give her less room and see if that helps.

dogs don't usually go where they have to lay, you didn't say how old she is, if she is just a puppy they don't have total control over their bladder or bowels.
