My gf has started being friends with her ex lately i don't like it but accept it. We were all out at a bar the other night and i went to the bathroom and two of his friends followed me in and when i went to leave they said i couldn't because the ex wanted to be alone with my gf. When i didn't listen they physically tried to stop we and in the end i had to hurt them to get past. when i came out out the ex's face was of shock he had known what was going on. Iv'e told my gf about this and she stopped talking to the ex but he keeps ringing and apologising and she so sweet she will forgive him. What is my next step

Had the same thing in a way happen to me.
But my ex-boyfriend was a friend to me and my boyfriend. He got a couple of guys to beat up on my boyfriend.
But I told my ex that if he realy did do it. I was going to hurt him real bad. But I can do that.
Most likely she can not. So talk to her about how you feel about it. If she loves you she will do the right thing.
Plus sounds like she knows that he is a controling freak. That he will say anything to be in control. And if he would have someone beat you up. It can be her next.
Know sometime when women forgive a person. Is because the bug them so much. They just give up.
Just tell her you will back her in whatever she wants. Because you do not want to be controling too.
Then if she leaves him back in your life. Tell her that if she does not care about them trying to beat you up. Then she does not love or care for you.
Then find someone that does. Because if you do not love your self. How do you think you can love someone else?

you should talk to your gf about the whole thing...tell her that you tried to get along with her ex but after what has happened, you don't think its a good idea to continue being friends with him...its like you are making her choose between you and him...if your gf loves you, she will stop seeing him or talking to him...if not...find another girl who will love you and you alone...

Well give her a chance. I mean she stopped talking to him after this outrage. It is not her fault if she was tricked by him that he just wanted to be friends. I mean part of the reason you must like her is her being sweet after all. But if she want to all hang out agin the maybe shes not as into you as you are into her.

I'm sorry you need to put you foot down her ex which is a n ex for a reason tried to hurt you. tell her stop being friends with him. If my boyfriend was in your situation and he told me that id respect him and leave that guy alone.

well then ask her how she would feel if you started talking to one of ur ex's.and if she says she wouldnt care,find an ex and start talkin to her and see what your gf says or does.let her know how it feels.cause ex's can try to get there ex's back if they want.u never know it could just ONLY be a friend thing but it he could try to make it more.just watch and see what happens.if his friends did that then something was goin on.good luck and hope everything works out for you

put your feelings on the shelf and walk away from her. you can't be happy with her given all this drama. and trust me, she LOVES the drama. in her mind, it's 'attention' so she can brag about men fighting over her. leave her alone man. she's bad news. and the 'ex', he's a punk.

I'd tell her to cut off all contact completely.
Change your phone number(s) and block his emails.
I would also probably file a police report if you think that this may escalate again, or feel threatened at all.
