A boy asked me out today. I have liked him for about 3 months and he seems like the almost perfect guy. You know the one...cute, smart, popular, intelligent, sporty, great personality...the only problem is, he is really quiet. Is this just him being shy, or does he just not like talking? I don't want to have a boyfriend that I don't talk to! What should I say to him to get him talking to me???

If he's anything like I'm guessing he is, he'll probably work his way up slowly. Eventually he'll not be as shy and he'll talk more freely with you. Don't expect miracles on the first day, the guys who do that are probably just in it to get in your pants then leave. I think you have a good pick.

Hey! I don't know! I'm like that! If I like a girl and I find out she likes me back I get shy and nervous but I guess you have to generate a conversation. But one thing to see if he's not legit is if you as him a question and he just kills the moment! Say like you said "Hey what did you do today?" and he replies "Nothing."
You see that's killing the conversation and that shows no interests! But I dout he'd do that it seems to me that he likes you I mean he's just nervous! If he went out of his way to ask you out then I'm almost positive that he likes you!

Just show him that youre there for him and he'll eventually break out of his shell and start talking to you he is probably is just shy around people which YOU (yes you) can help him get over, and you two might be perfect together ...or not.

maybe he's shy,or hes just one of those guys that is waiting on u to start a conversation.so start conversations with him.and if it keeps up him not talkin much just tell him he needs to talk more,but say it in kinda a joking way so he doesnt think ur bein bossy.or ask him why he doesnt talk much.goodluck and hope it all works out for you

Start a conversation on each others interests then when he starts opening up with that..to keep him talking show him that you are curious about his interests...lets say he likes football...tell him you don't know much about the game (even if you already do..don't let let him know that) and have him give you a few pointers..things like that

he may be nervous about talking to you just start talking to him one day and if he doesn't talk just ask him why he isn't.
