If you really want to join the army, just go to your nearest recruiter. Just talk to them. I think that there is a $20,000 bonus right now for anyone who ships out right away. I would highly recommend that you get on that. Some don't even get a bonus at all for enlisting (believe me I know). But personally walking into your nearest recruiter and telling them that you want to join is the fastest way. You can probably find out where your nearest recruiter is at www.goarmy.com if you don't already know.

The army is the way to go. The recruiters get a thousand e-mails a day so you should go in the office to talk to them. They will start the process for you that same day. Good Luck to you!

If you go to http://www.todaysmilitary.com and put your zip code in (right hand side of the page, about 2/3 of the way down the page) it'll give you the nearest joint-service recruiting offices to your home. Drop by. They'd love to talk to you!

umm, they aren't gonna drop everything YOU have to take the initiative and call THEM up. they are VERY busy, some recruiters have very large districts and can't be taking the time to return every phone call or email, especially if you never followed up.
SHOW them how serious you are by making some phone calls yourself.
