i'm just curious becuase he has HUGE paws for his size, well he's 10 weeks now but i haven't had him weighed since then and he's grown a lot. his paws are almost the size of my friends 6 month old boxer. so is there any way of telling what his adult size will be?

Well,I had two mixed breeds, brother and sister ,who were about that size at 8 weeks, and the female weighed 95 lbs,and her brother weighed 110 lbs.,but that's just an estimate of how big your dog oculd grow to be.Your dog might be bigger or smaller than they were;puppies do have growth spurts. How big were his parents? You can usually go by their size pretty well in judging how big your dog will be when he's an adult.

I believe, if he is 8 weeks and 16 lbs, he is going to be approx 75 lbs as an adult. As long as you keep him in good shape, nicely muscled and no fat.. Good quality food, lots of good exercise etc..

I have a 7 1/2 week old female Doberman puppy.. only puppy in the litter, she weighs 16 lbs.. So size depends on many factors.. How the puppy was fed, how many in the litter etc. My female won't grow up to be any bigger than she should be.. She is starting out bigger cause she didn't have anyone to share all that milk with..

He sounds way too big for 8 weeks. I suspect he's older than you've been told. My golden who is now 95 lbs and not fat was nowhere near that big at 8 weeks.
