A mind in control of a heart full of fear can result in silence. But when that heart overflows with fear, the mind will lose control of the mouth and a cry for help will be heard. The same is true for a heart full of joy. When happiness overflows the heart, a smile is seen and words expressing joy will be heard.
Now couple that with the blessings God has promised those who are faithful.......good measure, shaken together, pressed down and overflowing. Any questions about why Christians are so eager to share their faith with others?

Your words come from your heart if you fill it with Love then you will speak loving things. If you fill it with hate and lies then you will speak lies and be hateful towards others. What you say has a powerful affect on people. Look at people around you listen carefully to what they say and you could find out what's lurking in their heart just by what they say!

Matthew 12:34
O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

"A good man", is a regenerated man, one that is renewed by the Spirit of God, a believer in Christ, a sincere lover of him, and one that follows him, wherever he goes, and who has the grace of God implanted in him as the good treasure of the heart. He tells his experience, speaks of what God has done for his soul; says many things to the glory of the grace of God; of the person, offices, blood, righteousness, and fullness of Christ; and of the operations and influences of the blessed Spirit; and which are pleasant, profitable, useful, and edifying to the saints.

The "evil man", is a man as he was born; who is wholly flesh, carnal, and in a state of nature; destitute of the Spirit, and having no principle of grace in him: "the evil treasure", is the corruption of his nature, the desperate wickedness of his heart; and those swarms of lusts, and all manner of sin that dwell there; from whence are continually proceeding evil and corrupt communications, which not only defile himself, but others; and among the rest, not only vain words and unprofitable talk, but blasphemies against God, Christ, and the blessed Spirit; all which men will be accountable for another day.

I would take it to mean that when your heart is right your words will be kind and loving and right also. So by what people say or how they speak you can tell their " Heart condition"

What is in the heart is what comes out of a person's mouth.
(Opinions, attitudes, lusts, jealousies...sin in general.)

if you fill your heart with good things you will talk about good things...like God and the good news of the kingdom we pray for in the lords prayer....but if all you think about is gossip or work...then that is all that will come out.
