Well she isn't Catholic if she is actually participating in a Buddist ceremony. It's one thing just to accompany someone to another religion's service. It's quite another to participate whole-heartedly in it.
Perhaps she needs to actually learn what it means to be Catholic. There are classes for child, teens and adults at almost every Catholic Church. There are support groups and studies for those who want to explore their faith and ask questions.
Just because you go to church and have been baptised doesn't mean you are saved according to the Christian religion. One can chose to reject Jesus and chose to forseake their gift of salvation. No one will snatch from the hand of G-d, according to Paul, as long as you want to stay there. But there is nothing stopping you from personally leaving. Perhaps she needs to get a firm hold on what makes a Christian, and a Catholic specifically. It's not just about going to church. Especially for Catholics.
It's about putting faith into actions. For salvation is not just about inactive believing for Catholics. If one has faith it will be delievered in everyone of their actions.

Well, to me, it sounds like she's more Buddhist than Catholic. I mean if she is doing the prayers of Buddhists, then it would make sense.

It depends on if she believes the teachings of the Buddhist or the Catholic.
You'd have to talk to her about it. Just talk about beliefs with her casually, you don't have to tell her what you're doing because then she might not talk to you.

It doesn't matter much. Both religions teach ethical behavior. Christians teach the Golden Rule. Buddhists have their equivalent. Everything else is commentary.

why can't she be both? going to a church or a temple doesn't make anyone anything except a visitor. i don't mean to be flippant, but really it's none of your business. not everyone is comfortable in alternative religions or beliefs. if she wants to call herself a catholic that really isn't any of your concern.

Are you even asking a question?
She can be whatever she wants to be.
Are you trying to battle with your opion to say that shes a buddhist. because she worshipped with you and most of her family are so she minus well be one.
She has the freedom of choice to choose where she sees herself as. but it also depends on which relgion rules she follows by and believe in.

When she gets older, she'll choose her own path for what she believes. Who cares if she goes to both services. She'll broaden her views on religion be more educated, and have more of an understanding about how religious views differ.

if she says she's a catholic that's where her heart and faith is, that doesn't mean that she has to turn her back and denied the faith she has grew up knowing specially if her family practice it. so let her be if shes happy and not doing any harm it shouldn't matter what faith she follows.
all the best *=)
