How do you know when your dog wants to peepee and caca? Does the dog like whine, drag you outside or something?
Can you also make the dog poop when you want it to?

What about puppies, if they are trained, are they gonna whine when they want to pee or like bark or drag you to go out side?

OK, heres a tip, when a puppy has to poop his butt yes he butthole will looks as if marble is bulging it, another thing is when it is excessively walking around sniffing the floor and turning in circles, also watch his tail it wont be liad against the butt it will kindog loop away from the butt,

ok about peeing, you dont know, they go when ever its very hard to tell when they have to pee, that you have to catch when they squat for the females or bend there knee down a little since they dont know yet how to hike

ok a puppy can pee and poop almost instantly after eating, or withing 15 to 30 minutes, so put them outside as soon as they are done eating,

make a dog poop when you want it too can be possible, but normal cases it will when its ready, i just just make my dog goustide for about a hour to insure the he does something wethat pee or poop,

my dog is house trainded and will only poop when he goes oustide, just got to have a repetition going

now if a dogs dragging, this is a sign of him wiping his butt becuase there maybe some on there or itching, and a big possibleity that he has worms,

hope this helps some

you can teach them just about any cue to ask to go outside. I have friends that taught their dog to ring a bell. My dog will sit by the door and if I dont catch on right away she will whine or bark. You cant make them poop on cue. Do you poop on cue? most dogs will get into a cycle the same as people and go around the same time every day though. You can train them to go in the same area though by using scent or always taking them to the same place to go,

Its more along the line of you watching your dog or puppy for it's signal.. some whine .. go to the door, bark at the door, ect.
Most times dogs and puppy sniff the ground or floor when they have to pee or poop. So watch for it and recognize that your dog is telling you HE HAS TO GO OUTSIDE AND DO HIS BUSINESS.

Most dogs need to eliminate 20 to 30 minutes after they eat. You are the pack leader so be sure to go out with him after he eats, or take him for a walk on the leash. Always take him out after food.

Depending on the age he will learn that outside is the poop place. But pay attention to his body language he doesn't do English, he does dog.

We always say to our dog "Let's check the back" which is nicer than lets go out back and poop. So Let's check the back means go to the restroom.
Our cocker goes to the back door and sits there until someone notices; the heeler comes and stares at you until he gets your attention and then takes off for the back door.

Watch and learn dog speak.

I was never able to train my dogs to do something specific when they have to go potty. But each one has their own signal.

Grace runs to the door and shoves her face in the mini blinds making a racket. Xedes sits and either whines or moans his displeasure. Or he comes and sits quietly right in front of you and simply stares at you waiting for you to let him out.

Lucks paces, like a madman, back and forth, back and forth, up and down the room or hallway, but he doesn't make a noise

Since each one naturally had a signal that they were giving, I figured, what was the point of training them to do something else. Their signals weren' hard to read once you realized what they were doing!

You should know your own dog welle nough to know when he or she is likely to need. If the dog is new to you or is a pup, then you really shuldn't wait for it to need to go to the loo - you should be trying to establish a routine, so the dog gets to know when it is expected to go - and next likely to get the chance. By the time the dog is whining, or scratching, it has possibly been trying silently let yiu know it needs, for a good few minutes! My lot rarley ask to get out - they are all perfectly housetrained , but as we have a regular-ish routine, they have ample opportunity to releive themselves, and if they don't need at any given point, they have a good idea of when they are next likely to get the chance.
If this was a more specific quiestion, and you need help with your own dog, please ask again.
Thanks for reading

You teach them to signal you.

As puppies, you have a schedule, and you know when to take them out. (after naps, meals, and about every hour in between) As you take them out, you teach them to scratch the door, or sit by the door. Some people have a bell or a buzzer they ring when they have to go out.

Each person trains their dogs a little differently, because it depends how and what the dog is comfortable with and learns.

My Shih Tzu is trained to stretch on the door whenever he has to peepee or caca (by the way Cute names lol) and I let him out, but I would take him/her out after a meal to show him/her this is when and where I want you to do it!
after that he/she will run or try to show you where they want t go by running to you and then running to the door IF your dog is anything like my dog

My pit bull goes and sits by the door. If I do not notice him after a few minutes, he will walk over to me, lick my leg, and then return to the door. It took alot of time and work to teach him to do this. You have to be consistent with him/her, just as if you were potty training a child. Just keep working with him/her, eventually you will find a good routine that will be perfect for you and your pup.
