I was in a hurry and didn't change out of my work clothes before making dinner. STUPID, RIGHT?
I was browning some ground beef and spilled some grease from the pan on my sweater and of course it stained my sweater.
I have tried every trick I know of, but the stain just won't come out!
HELP!!!!!

i have a sloppy husband and a 3 1/2 year old toddler, i've tried it all. my two favorite stain removers are spray and wash duel power (gets out just about everything) and the tide pen (for those out and about stains).

this is what 'martha stewart living stain removal guide' says....
Grease (butter, oil, mayo):
washables - start with a combination solvent (shout, spray n'wash, etc.). follow up with mineral spirits or oil solvent if necessary.
nonwashables - use an oil solvent (K2r, Afta, etc.), then dab with cool water; dry flat.

Did you try Dawn dish liquid?(it cleaned the ducks ) if not then try that with a little lemon juice.

If you did that already then the only other thing I know that works is baby powder.Rub it on both sides(in/out) of the stained area of the sweater, Brush it off and reapply until the stain is gone.

Good Luck =)

Toothpaste, as long as it's not a "whitening" paste will take out grease stains. It even worked on one that had been through the dryer several times.

Dish soap will lift a grease stain from your clothing.

Try taking it to a professional dry cleaners. It's a bit expensive, but the products they have available to them may be able to get rid of that nasty stain for you!
