Okay, I am 13 years old, am 5'3 and weigh 120 pounds, but all my friends who are my height sometimes a little shorter and sometimes and little taller weigh around 95 pounds give or take. The thing is we look the same size, like I look just as thin as they do or at least I thought I did. So why is this.

There's nothing wrong with you. You are a healthy weight for your height. Your friends who weigh 95 pounds are also at a healthy weight. There is a large range of "normal", especially for young teens. Some of you may be further along in puberty which results in womanly curves, a softer body and a little more weight.

Use the calculator below to determine if you are overweight, underweight or within normal.

You are fine. Do you compare your self with them in everything?
I am serious, you need to quit comparing yourself against others.

If you must compare, then go for broke, compare everything. Does your poo float and theirs doesn't, do you use more or less TP than them? Do you have the same bedspread as they do? is your comb the exact likeness? How about your mums, are they exactly alike?

Do you have the same books on all of your shelves, and not different ones at all. How about music, do each of you have the same exact CD's, and no different ones?

Seriously you are different than your friends, and they are different than you.

Your weight is fine for your height, so please quit worrying about it, or if you do, then be fair, worry about all of the other differences you have to, and make you all be clones.

You're growing before they do? Its not bad at all, sheesh, the youth these days, it just means you're entering... dun dun DUNN puberty? And you're probably having a growth spurt, or you're a regular person and like food; ain't nuthin wrong with that.

Heavier bone, tendon and cartledge structure maybe
and maybe those friends of yours are slightly under-nourished
Get plenty of exercise and eat healthily - self consciousness could mess you up - so stop worrying
