Boxers are wonderful dogs. Fawn is the most common in boxers but brindle is not exactly rare. However if you get a reverse(black) brindle then you would have a rare one. I know a lot about boxers they have been raised by our family since 1977. My husbands grandma now has all champions so if you have a question please E-Mail me ladybug_777_18@yahoo.com I can also share photos of my brindle. Please contact me.

Look up Boxer Dogs on the web and search for Brindles; look at the pictures and check out the personalities. I have a boxer and he is the most loving, sweet personality; he never barks, loves everyone, is great with children of all ages, is a terrific companion and I cannot imagine my life without him. If you go and see a boxer and see how sweet they are, you will fall in love with him and never want to be without one. I don't believe the brindles are rare; boxers come in white, fawn and brindle. Look at pictures of boxer puppies, too. Sooooo cute!!

A bath every week to every 1 1/2 weeks is plenty (and maybe even too much) to keep a dog smelling okay. It is more likely that something else is going on with your dog. Take her to a vet and have them check her anal glands. If nothing is wrong there, you might consider having her checked for other health problems such as a thyroid condition or urinary tract problems. Not sure about the scratching because I don't know what is causing it. Separation anxiety? Restlessness? Boredom? You have to treat the cause, not just the behavior. EDIT: from the additional info you gave, sounds like she has an ear infection. She should see a vet ASAP as these are painful and irritating, and if left untreated can cause the dog to begin shaking her head which may cause a hematoma...a condition that would require surgery to fix. That is probably the reason that she smells so bad as well.

Brindles are not rare. Look at the American Boxer Club website or the AKC website for info. Google it.

Umm...if you mean brindle colored Boxers, they are very common. They're just Boxers, in fact brindle and fawn are the only acceptable colors for a Boxer in the show ring. Any Boxer breeder is likely to have them in their kennel.

If you mean BRINDLE boxers, brindle is just a color pattern, and it's one of the most common ones. Just go to www.google.com and type in 'brindle boxer' and see what comes up. They're easy to find if you look up breeders, you could probably find them in any rescue shelter too. Good luck!

brindle boxers aren't rare. instead of being the fawn colour (thats the brown colour they just call it fawn) they have stripes like a tigers marking but not quite. If you look up pics on the internet you can see what they look like.

I don't think that brindles are that rare. My neighbor has two brindle boxers.
