Some people like ketchup in their meatloaf. I like to put it ON my meatloaf. Cold meatloaf with ketchup is great the next day. Sometimes I put ketchup on my eggs and home fries, but I always use it on French fries.

Poke holes in the top, and pour the ketchup on. Then bake it. The ketchup takes on a different flavor, when baked.
I've been known to use potato flakes in my meatloaf, along with the eggs. It all acts as a binder to help hold everything together. Be sure to add in a little salt, some pepper, and a handful of herbs. Otherwise, it's just a huge meatball, with no flavor.

It depends on how much help the meatloaf needs at the table. The only time I have eggs with ketchup is at a diner when they get too close to my potatoes.

The best meatloaf I've ever tasted had tomato sauce instead of ketchup on top.
Eggs and ketchup--ick!
Potatoes--only if they're fried.

YES! Otherwise it just wouldn't be meatloaf! I went through a ketchup on eggs phase, and it can be good on home-style potatoes.

No. Gravy on meatloaf.
Nothing on eggs and potatoes, but I like to mash up my fried eggs and mix them with the potatoes, so they're kind of like a condiment.
My oldest son puts BBQ sauce on just about everything. Including his meatloaf and eggs and potatoes.

Meatloaf- Yes
Eggs- No
Potatoes- Yes
I only really like ketchup on french fries/potato foods and cheeseburgers.
I'm more of a fan of chili sauce. If you haven't tried it, you must! It's like ketchup, but with a kick.

If it doesn't have a glaze I sure do. But to put a glaze on meatloaf, mix catsup and brown sugar and coat the meatloaf with it during the last 1/2 hour in the oven.
You can dip potatoes in this glaze but it would be icky on eggs.

I put ketchup on meatloaf, but some people use gravy or nothing at all. I've never heard of eggs with meatloaf but to each his own. I use eggs IN my meatloaf though. I serve my meatloaf with mashed pot. I have at times, rolled the meat out like a pie crust. Then took mashed pot with creamed peas mixed together, put in the center of the meat,& rolled it up like a jelly roll. Then I baked it like that. It was really gr8. You have your whole meal in one serving.
