I'm 21... and I saw this girl a couple of times through her cousin... we never talk..... until I saw her at the theaters once, and I have the guts to stop her... and tell her that I think she is gorgeous, and wanted to hang out with her sometimes... she gave me her #, we chatted, talk, and hang out ... Until I realize that she is 17 ... anyway.. I feel awkward and so does she etc.... we both decided to let it go.. and not hang out anymore..
6 months later, we met again... how should things from here? (we never kissed, etc..) but we make plans to hang out... she is still unbelievably cute =)

When I was 14, I met my boyfriend. He is 6 years older than me, and back then, it was considered WAY bad for anything like that, so I never went after him... I thought he was cute and I always thought of him... When I turned 17 my friend Kelly and I had a birthday party together because we were born 10 days appart... Her sister brought him to the party! We hit it off and talked a LOT and it took us another 5 months to decide to go out, but it was the best decision of our lives. We're still together to this day, I'm almost 20 and he's 26. 21 and 17 is not so bad, my friend. Go for it!

I think you should give it a go ...
Its awesome that u bumped in to her again - maybe it was for a reason?
I think if you just take things slowly then all will be fine, i know this because i have been in the same situation...
I was 16 when i met my boyfriend, he was 20! Now its been 4 years and we are still together.
It definately feels a bit awkward with the age gap but remember 'age aint nothing but a number'
Give it a go, see where you go......
Good luck xx

I know age shouldn't be a big deal because it's just a number, but it does feel strange when you date someone who's either older or younger than you by a couple of ages. I'm seeing a guy who is 6 years older than me, which is weird for me because I've never would normally go for guys that old. I just find that I would not have a lot in common with people who are a few years older or vice versa.

Find someone over 18 years old to hang out with until she's 18.
You can get into big trouble in the mean-time.

Until she is of legal age in your state or 18 simply spend time with her learning who and what she is. The foundation for a lasting relationship is knowing the person.
If your just sniffing around...sniff else where or wait till she is 18 and can sniff back.

age is nothing but a number and it's nothing wrong with just hanging out. if you feel as though there could possibly be something between the two of you, then it wouldn't hurt for you to test the waters and find out.

Hanging out is good. Do nothing until she is at least 18. Your age diference isn't too much. Let things develop slowly, and she may become the "one" for you.

Wait until she is legally eligible. Age makes little differance after that provided both are of age and mature enough to handle a relationship. Till them my friend keep your distance.

No harm in hanging out. Then if stuff still goes well. Wait 'til she's eighteen, to do stuff. It might be better for the relationship anyway.
