Why is it that African American men brag about dating a women of more than one ethnicity like it's a trophe? Even when it's an african american women they make it seem as though she's special because she is mixed. Does it really matter?

It goes back to slavery times. If you ever notice there is almost always a line between light skin african americans and brown and dark african americans. Masters used to hold mixed african americans as house slaves and the darker ones were in the fields working. So that envy is somehow stamped in to our make up as african americans and not to mention the whole media thing and how they depict and seem to lewan more towards lighter/ mixed african americans than average looking african americans. But we do need to remember we are all the same on the inside and to white america foreal, foreal all the same on the outside to them. Its sad. But I love my brown skin and my beautiful brown skin boyfriend and im going to love oue beautiful brown skin baby im going to have in a couple of weeks!!

I find it more of a turn on dating someone who isn't in my race, it's kind of like your always around people your race, and then you get something different. I find girls of a different race than me as more of a turn on too.

Dunno. But in this day and age in America, how many people are just one ethnicity? Almost everyone has at least two types in them (that they know of).
