I have had two root canals on the upper right side of my mouth and I can't eat or drink or sleep and I can't get to a dentist for at least another week..any suggestions? All the stress from the pain is making my tummy upset and I know it can't be good for her..I have taken Tylenol and that doesn't help anymore. Orajel helped for a little while but it doesn't help long enough...HELP!! PLEASE!!!

Can you call your dentist and tell them its an emergency!? If not, try to find another one that can see you sooner, just look in the yellow pages and start calling first thing in the morning...you need to get treatment ASAP. If it is a money issue just explain to them and they will work with you.
As far as the pain--do yoiu have any vanilla extract? Put some on the tooth that hurts--DO NOT swallow it, just let it sit there, and the alcohol will soothe the pain...ALSO do you have a heat pack?? Get it as HOT as you can stand it and put it on your cheek, that will help the throbbing...if you do not have a heat pack, fill up a coke bottle with boiling (or just HOT HOT) water, wrap it in a towel and lay it on your cheek.

Put a drop of oil of cloves directly on the tooth that hurts. Have the dentist re-evaluate the teeth for a root fracture.
