It's pretty common practice for the fundamentalists to use science when it serves them and to discard it when it doesn't. Do you think if science proved Jesus that any Christian out there would have a bad thing to say about it then?

Science has its place in theology. The only problem with science is that it cannot prove everything. There is no falsehood in science in itself, just the limits of being intellectual.

How can science be used to prove the bible? It can't, but it can help bring reason to the bible metaphorically.

Not ALL science is wrong; but its foolish to accept everything you hear from the science community as fact. Much of what they "preach" is no more provable, than what you hear on Sunday morning from a man standing behind a pulpit.
And frankly I agree, it's absurd to think science will be able to confirm that which is clearly not of this dimension.

I don't know a single christian who has ever said science is false. In fact, there is much scientific data in support of the bible.

I believe in science, just not some of their theories. If it wasn't for science we'd still be in the dark (literally) about a lot of things.

Science is not false...just certain hypothesis and speculations like evolution.

Christians understand science quite well...I have a graduate astronomy / physics background...yet I certainly believe scripture over scientific speculation.
