i just started dating this guy. hes sweet and nice, and i really like him, but he just had his old gf move to college. She moved on sunday and hasnt told her that we're dating. he says he doesnt want to hurt her so he hasnt told her yet, but im concerned. He said after this week it would be cleared up, but i keep thinking that maybe he doesnt like me alot. I mean, he says he does, and shows it, but why cant he tell her?

"He said after this week it would be cleared up." Be patient, give the man some time, and let him let the other girl down easy, alright? What if you were the other girl? Sometimes even a few more days to process the information is enough for it not to be so bad when she does find out. If he doesn't clear it up after a week, then it's time to let him know it's not cool with you.

how long has it been since he broke up with her? It's not healthy 2 date someone right after u break up with somebody else. It could be a rebound sort of thing. There can be a million reasons y he won't tell her. Yeah, look into that, and c if he's sincere. I'm not judging, he probably is, but u need 2 c

If they just broke up, he probably still has a few feelings for her. I know I still had a few feelings for my ex boyfriend after we broke up and I was dating someone new. It's just that after you have dated some one for so long it's hard to just push them out of your life!! All you can do is talk to him, let your feeling known to him, and make communication a major factor in your relationship! This will pass, but try to not be mad, it's just something he has to go threw. It's almost like a healing process, then after a while he will not have those feelings for her and it will all be okay!! Okay, some of the other people answering your question are total **** cakes.
First of all, I can vouch for your man on why he wouldn't want to tell his ex. When my boyfriend first told his ex about me, she almost burned all of his stuff that he had left in her house.
If he says he likes you and shows you that he likes you, chances are, he likes you! Honestly, why would someone be with someone they don't like. Trust me, don't start your relationship off with trust issues, they will only come back to bite you again and again. Go with your gut feeling. I know you're confused, but girl, all of us get confused in our relationships at some point. Only time will truely tell.

Because he may have a shot with getting back together with his old girlfriend and if things don't work out between you two, then he'll always have her there. Sorry, but for some reason I just don't trust guys who are in college.

its your problem, and even if you asked to other people, the final decision will be yours
maybe it hurts him when he have to said it to her, maybe they have spent many good times together
try to be in his said, if you really want him, then you will never want to lose him, right?
