some of us have the ability to 'paint a picture' when we speak, so that whatever concept we are trying to express is made more transparent and more easily understood.
when we get the opportunity to listen to folk with this skill, it is mesmerising, one is transfixed, transported to another realm.
some poets and story tellers have this innate skill, and they weave an image right in front of you with the colourful fabrics of their words.

Like a poem, images invoke a certain feeling or experience. Theres many different kinds of cosmic imagery, so im not sure how to best answer your question. If you are interpreting imagery, see how it feels for you. If your making imagery, same thing.

I would speak in images through art, colors, behavior and all those that sends communication to the sight. I suppose sign language also. It certainly would be an interesting experiment. I also suppose that you are talking about nature also. If I point to the tree or the moon then without words I have indicated the object. If I then associate other pictures or other facsimiles of objects then we can then start to communicate complex thoughts. I think symbols which also appeals to the sight is another image. Or even written words. I remember how I used to read SF books and after a while I forget I am reading and instead saw images.
Could you please tell us why you asked this question?
I am interested in your logic.

If one speaks in images they speak in the language of the soul/mind. For what you see in this world is an vibration of thought or aspect of ones own inner cosmology of consciousness. If you look at scriptures, it shows quite well how to relate things in the spirit - applying the physical sense to explain mystic experience of higher being and concepts of a deeper capacity.
However one really has to look at things and see how they can apply, with many people who have not experienced themselves, all you are left with is an parabolic explanation that will help them to draw within for inner meaning.

Animal communicators teach this type of speaking. 3 diffrent ones have told me dogs show them mental photos and that's how they communicate with them. I have tried this for a long while. I have received on a few occasions mental photos of the ones I was trying to communicate with. I don't know how you do it. I just know that when it happened for me - I had to clear my mind of everything. No thoughts. No sounds, No stress. No nothing. Blank. Slowly the images formulated but when I thought, "is that what I think it is?" It went away. I had to start all over. Back to nothing. It happened again and I just held on to the moment and really looked hard to see outlines, features and movement. I couldn't see colors - just shades of gray. Pretty bizarre.

Form the picture in your mind, and send it on the vibration of the person to whom you want to communicate. I know several telepaths who do this all of the time, in addition to communicating verbally in this vein. I receive very well, but tend to get caught up in words and lose the imagery as I attempt to send . . . .
Oh, to have been born of it and not have to evolve now into it!

Yes, artists & advertisers do it all the time. A piece of sculpture or a painting can invoke much. Ever hear that a picture is worth a thousand words. Even we carry an internal picture of ourselves of sorts.

You send thought forms. I talk to animals this way. It's how your 6th sense works. Telepathy is sending thought forms. It's a start on telepathy anyway. That's my take on it. My dogs understand it very well. The first time it happens they get so excited because you can actually understand each other.
