How long do you think till most of animal life and plants die out?

Most of people are aware they injecting food will hormones or different to speed up the growth process. A lot of sea creatures are said to not be as plentiful as before. Many plants can not be eaten but the ones we can eat are pump full of growth hormones. So really what else is it gonna be if these things become extinct.

The way the web of life (i.e. the food web) works on this planet is that the energy needed to support life comes from the Sun. Plants turn solar energy into chemical energy as sugars, starches, vegetable oils and fibre. Animals turn those Hydrocarbons (yes sugar starch and oil are all hydrocarbons) into more complex fat molecules. The "closer to the sun" a living thing is, the more creatures will be affected by its loss. Without plants to turn solar energy into food, all the animals will starve.

There are 5 major crops which feed the world: corn, wheat, rice, potatoes and soy(?). There was a 20% loss in Canada's wheat crop this year due to the weather caused by GW. If we do not give the natural world the value it deserves it will ultimately be our loss.

How incredibly stupid it is to decide on the eve of a natural disaster to decide its a good idea to burn food in cars.

Humans is sooooo stupid.

Lots of things are thriving. Rabbits, flies, Pigeons, and other common animals that nobody worries about. Nobody worries BECAUSE they are common. If there were only 100 rabbits left in the world then governments would be making rabbit preserves where no development would be allowed and people would be having save the rabbit concerts. And people. There are more people than ever and the population is still growing.

It is amazing to me the continuous abitilty of the Earth to cleanse and renew itself, despite all that Man does. Nature finds a way to adjust and survive, although I think it is becoming more difficult for it to do so.
