i don't have any pimples anymore. i've been 2 yrs free of any pimples thanx to Accutane. are there any products out there that will help with my acne scars or especially the red marks? i've heard of Alpha Hydroxy Acids but i don't know what creams contain that. i'm currently using, past 8 months, a product that contains lactic acid only at night. any advice will be appreciated. thanx

Some people swear by this aspirin mask: Crush up 6 plain, uncoated aspirin tablets and mix it w/ a little water to make mask. Or mix half a teaspoon of crushed, uncoated aspirin tablets with Queen Helene Mint Julep mask or aloe vera gel to use as a mask. Apply a thin layer to your face & let dry for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off w/ cool water.
The other thing you can do is to consult your doctor or a dermatologist about Retin-A. This prescription product promotes cell turnover & stimulates collagen production. I've used it & it helped dimish some of my shallow acne scars.
If you decide to try Retin-A, then be sure to wear sunscreen daily.
Ask your dermatologist about other options like microdermabrasion or laser therapy.

While it took little less than two months for me to really see a difference, my acne, blackheads and whole lot of other skin problems I had such as eczema had completely cleared! It was totally amazing...

the product i use now is called philosophy-a pigment of your imagination spf. its like a mouisterizer and its fantastic! ive had it for a few weeks now and i can already see the difference!! you can get it at sephora or on qvc.com
