It is important to know that god means spititual being.
Almighty God [with capital G] is the supreme Being. Who has a personal name...YHWH or YaHWeH.
this translates into English as Jehovah...as close as we can get.
The Bible mentions OTHER gods [ small g ]
(Isaiah 65:11) “But YOU men are those leaving Jehovah, those forgetting my holy mountain, those setting in order a table for the god of Good Luck and those filling up mixed wine for the god of Destiny.

(2 Corinthians 4:4) among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through.

Both spelt with a small 'g'

So it is VERY important that Almighty God's title [ not name] is spelt with a CAPITAL 'G'

And every time the same with Jehovah.

It is respect.

Satan is a ''god", but deserves NO respect.

I don't capitalize god because it's not a name. God is a noun plain and simple. I capitalize Jesus though. See, that's a name. What right have you to tell anyone else what words to capitalize anyway?

What is this a daily question now?

I don't capitalize god for the same reason I don't capitalize mythology. Unless it happens to be at the beginning of a sentence.

There. You got the same answer I gave yesterday.

You are supposed to capitalize the "g" in "God."

Why? The same reason you capitalize the "r" in my name, "Rick."

"God" is the Christian god's name.

It's a proper noun.

If you were talking about Greek Mythology, and there several gods, you would not capitalize the "g" because it is not someone's name as in "There are hundreds of gods in Greek Mythology."

Give me a break... with all the problems in the world, this is what you are hung up on???

Do you think god cares if we capitalize his G? Let me answer that... if YOUR god cares... he is not the real god... god is not something to worship or fear... god is something to connect to... we come from god (biologically) and we return to god (biologically)... worrying about a capital G is just one more thing that confuses people from understand what (NOT WHO) god is...

I think if this is a **name** for a Person, it should be capitalized. Otherwise, if one does not capitalize one's own name, or their mother and father's name, or sister's or brother's name, then they should not do so got this either.

YES! I believe God should begin with a capital "G," just as I believe in a sentence He or His, when referring to God, should be capitalized.
