I would get a copy of the Message Bible and reread what you have just read ... Then continue on from Acts to Romans and so on.
Here is a link to the Bible online:

A teenager huh? Ooops. You'd read Proverbs. Then 1 & 2 Timothy is a good idea. They were letters to a young man who helped the Apostle Paul a great deal in his ministry. Timothy was someone who learned the scriptures "from infancy". A good example. And sure. You should be able to handle Psalms.
Happy reading. :)

Teenagers are smart - do a Psalm a day and see what God shows you.
Get to know your New Testament at the same time, though.
Also, when you read, keep a notebook handy. Write down things that 'stand out' or what you feel God is showing you. Also write down things you have a question about, so you can ask someone who knows the Bible well.

i might propose next which you do the gospel of John. in assessment to the different 3 gospels, John grants remark and clarification for what Jesus stated and did, which makes it much less annoying to appreciate. once you're finished with John, proceed into the subsequent e book Acts, it fairly is the historic previous of the 1st generations of Christians. Then into the subsequent e book Romans, it fairly is a letter Paul wrote that explains the main important Christian ideals. alongside with those, it fairly is beneficial to function a financial ruin an afternoon from the e book of Psalms.

James! It's short and sweet, it's only like 2 or 3 pages long in most Bibles. Then Romans should come next on your list, it's so awesome!!
Oh yeah, be sure to highlight anything that really hits you or you really like. The Bible says to memorize it's scripture.
