Except God isn't dead. Right? Hell, if I knew I was going to rise from the dead, I wouldn't be too concerned about dying either.

So that's why god is dead... And here I thought Nietzsche was getting at something else...
No, honestly I don't find the concept of some dead jew on a stick legend that's been accepted as fact by a bunch of superstitious individuals deep... Sorry if I'm appearing rude, I merely am giving you my opinion.

And to think, if I was the only person ever to live, He still would have suffered and died for my sins, just so I could have the opportunity to spend eternity with Him and He with me.
Do you realize, that as excited as we will be to meet Him, He will be even more excited to meet us. How awesome is that!!
There is no other God except Christ Jesus and I will be honored to Praise Him for all eternity.
God Bless Everyone...Peace.

Yes, indeed He did and He died for ALL! But, we know that death could not bind Him! He arose, in victory over death and showed us the way, if we too believe.
There is victory over death, through the cross. But, it is only victory for those who believe that He did die and arose from that grave!
God did not have to do this. He desired to do this so we could be with Him. Sin divided us from God and God loved us so that He devised a plan of salvation for all!
Thank You, Lord!

Sure, about as deep as Santa delivering toys to deserving kids of all faiths and walks of life.
This would be the same god, or part of the trinity, that said a man who divorces his wife cause her to commit divorce - implying that the man doesn't?

Not much of a sacrifice, then. Other gods actually died and formed the world in doing so - your god is a wuss.

A common mis-interpretation. He said "I die for THEIR sins". No mention of future unborn generations. It was the false apostle Saul alias Paul who changed things. The specific sin he died for was the sin of the people who tried to make him their lord and king. In todays language he would have said "They set me up!"

yep...He is Gracious, Merciful, Holy, and Loving...but lets not forget Jealous and Just at the same time. We had sin that needed to be paid for and in His Righteousness and Justness He died and paid it for us...

CORRECTION:
God didn't die for me.
His Son died for me.
Well...that's saying that I believe that, though.
Sure, you can say "oh but God Jesus and the HG are three in one" but that's like saying my glass of water is steam, liquid water and ice at the same time. IT MAKES NO SENSE!
