Should he change his mind because a clever lawyer might get him off? Or should he change his mind on the grounds that what he did was not so bad even though most Republicans are against it when it is a Democrat doing it?

He should not resign because he is gay, he should resign because he is a sleaze ball. He pleaded guilty because his action were potentially embarrassing, could it have been any more embarrassing than what happened? (sorry about the pun, I could not help it)

I think it's great, and he shouldn't resign.

I think he changed his mind because he is finally getting some good legal counsel, and realizes that a misdemeanor violation, which is all Ted Kennedy was charged with in the drunk driving death of his secretary years ago, is not enough for anyone else to resign from the Senate, so why should he?

Why should attempting to pick up someone for a sexual encounter be against the law in the first place. I think he pleaded guilty because he was embarrassed at the idea of public exposure, but now that it is out, why plead guilty. Specter is right, there is no real case against him.

I would imagine that would depend on where they meet and what signals they use to discuss it.

Just as Haggard had his so-called prostitute "OUT" him, I'm confused as to why this alleged past prostitute hasn't come forward as well. I am not amused that he was busted by a cop pretending to be a prostitute and think it should be thrown out if no actual witness comes forward. I think his sexuality shouldn't be in question unless he's "grossly" immoral. I'm burned out after what they did wasting taxpayers money and time with Bill Clinton and his affair.

I think he should find a nice public restroom and go sit down and think about it for a bit.
