Today I thought I saw stars, but then realized it was dust. I said "I'm ok I thought I was seeing stars but I was seeing dust" to my friend. I feel like that could be an inspertional quote. Like when you see famous people you think your seeing stars, people living a dream, but it's really not all that great. What are your thoughts on that quote? Is it a good quote or am I just thinking too much?

I like it. The phrase has a ring to it. If I was your editor, I would change it slightly.

"I thought I was seeing stars, but it was only dust." ~~Lisa R

You should develop the thought a little further. Have you tried jotting ideas like this down in a notebook? It really helps with the writing process. Just as in a diary, write down the date before you begin scribbling. A week, a month, a year or 20 years from now, you will be fascinated by how far your writing has come. Good luck, I think you are onto a beginning!
