I like London Pride and Boddington's. The best name for ale I've heard is "Famous Falling-Down Water."

In downtown detroit there is a bar that makes its own beer called beer company and they have a red ale, and yes you guessed it its called The Red and it is absolutely the best beer of any kind that I have ever had and trust me I have had a lot, it even beats some of the best imports.

weyerbacher Merry Monk is amazing, and their pumkin ale is what all pumpkin ales should shoot for! ( with Dogfishhead coming in close..). Any of the Flying dog, love horn dog or in heat wheat. http://www.flyingdogales.com/beer-pack.asp
