Have you had a recent illness? Sick right now? Are you a smoker? Hard to answer that question, really. But in general, I would think 10 days is a bit too long. Time to contact a doctor.

If you look in your throat with a flashlight, can you see anything in there? Anything white? Or redness of the back of the throat? Depending on where you live, ragweed has been in bloom for the last few weeks. If you have been having any kind of drainage down the back of your throat, its probably allergies. If no drainage, any fever? If so, you could possibly have strep throat. Which you will need antibiotics for.. In anycase, see your doctor.

Yeah, I'd say ten days is time enough to say "hey, time for the doctor."
I seem to get lots of sore throats, and I always check with a doctor if they last past 5 days.

You could possibly have strep throat. Im not sure if you have any other symptoms or not. If you have a fever also its a good possibility you have strep. There is alot of other things it could be also. drink plenty of fluids, gargle warm salt water and see a doctor if you have medical.

If it is not drainage due to allergies (common this time of year), then it might be strep throat. Best way to tell.. Do you have a fever. If not then it is probably a sinus infection.

yes u probably have a bad case of strep.
go to the doctor, and he'll give u a throat culture.
get a prescription, it'll be all better in like a day.

I dont get sick very much, like once a year. when i do it always starts w/ a sore throat.
