Your back could be out of place, or you could have arthritis of the spine. Either way, you should see a doctor (a chiropractor can put your bones back in place). I have degenerative arthritis in my lower back (lumbar region, above my hips) and there are days I can barely walk because of it. I can also "forecast" weather with it--if it is going to rain or be cold, I can feel it 2 days in advance. If it is not your back doing all of this, you might either turn your mattress over (over time an innerspring mattress compresses till it is harder than normal), or invest in a totally new mattress.
When you pick something up from the floor, remember to "lift with your knees (bend them instead of bending over at the waist), not your back" because that will mess up your back, too.

You could have an injury that has herniated a disc, but, since you are so young it probably is due to weakness in the muscles. Strengthening the back muscles is the best way to alleviate pain. Just search some sites with back strengthening exercises and DO them.
